Having imbibed the moral norms, values and an in-depth understanding of not just one but many gharanas that allows her to harmonize her distinctly diverse styles into one enthralling rendition from classical to semi-classical styles. She shares the credits of the widely recognised album by the Jazz Saxophonist Mr. Finn Martin from Germany. She has also performed with the world renowned Jazz Pianist Mr. Louis Banks in his very own band, Aakriti.

This workshop is meant for beginners, so if you have no knowledge of Kathak or if you learnt a long time ago and want to restart this is a great place to start.

Faq
This is a one to one class, so timings are flexible as per your schedule. The LIVE lessons with a mentor is about 45 mins in addition you also get practice videos that take about 20 mins each time. You can practice as many times till you are comfortable with a topic.
Yes! This course is especially designed for beginners. We start with the absolute basics so you get a strong foundation. The ALL LIVE class format ensures you can learn directly from masters, get one to one training from expert mentors and finish the course as per your schedule.
The minimum age to start learning is 6 years. We do not take admissions before this age. Childrens’ vocal cords are considered delicate at this age to start a demanding training process. At a very early age children should be exposed to a variety of classical music and should be encouraged to listen to. This develops the right orientation (Sanskaar) and children find it easier to learn once they are 6 years of age.

No, you do not require any equipment or instrument for completing this course.
At beginners’ levels, we are neutral to all Gharanas / style in Hindustani vocals. Basic technical training common to all gharanas is provided through the course.
